| Lennon Chang lennon.chang@anu.edu.au (02) 6125 2637 | Dr Yao-chung (Lennon) Chang completed his PhD at the Centre of Excellence in Policing and Security, Regulatory Institutions Network at the Australian National University. He received his Bachelor in Law and Masters in Criminology, both from the National Taipei University, Taiwan. He is now working as a research officer at the ANU on projects relating to cybercrime and organised crime, and as an Associate Investigator at CEPS. Additionally, he holds the appointment of secretary of the Asian Criminological Society. His PhD research, entitled “Cybercrime across the Taiwan Strait— Regulatory Responses and Crime Prevention,” focuses on alternative solutions to combating cybercrime during a period of negative mutual assistance between both China and Taiwan. It also discusses cybercrime prevention from the perspective of a risk-based approach. Based on his PhD thesis, he is now in the process of writing a book entitled “Cybercrime in the Greater China Region: Regulatory Responses and Crime Prevention across the Taiwan Strait”, which will be published by Edward Elgar Publisher in 2012.
