| Patrick Weller p.weller@griffith.edu.au 07 3735 7723 | Patrick Weller holds the Premier of Queensland Chair in Governance and Public Management. He is a Professor in the Department of Politics and Public Policy at Griffith University and the Director of the Centre for Governance and Public Policy at Griffith University. He has a BA from Exeter College Oxford, a MA Oxford, PhD from The Australian National University and a D.Litt. from Griffith University. He is also an adjunct Professor in the Australian and New Zealand School of Government. He is an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) and a fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences of Australia. In 2009, he completed (with Simone Webb) a review of Government. Boards, Committees and Statutory Authorities in Queensland titled A Public Interest Map: An Independent Review of Queensland Government Boards, Committees and Statutory Authorities. He is currently a member of a Prime Ministerial task force titled Reform of Australian Government Administration: Building the World’s Best Public Service. Professor Weller is the recipient of a number of ARC research grants, the most recent are: ARC Linkage (with J. Scott, B. Stevens and R. Laurie) From Postbox to Policy Powerhouse: The Centenary of the Department of The Prime Minister and Cabinet (2009/10); ARC Discovery (with J. Wanna and A.
