CEPS Director speaks with ABC Radio about Use of Force
CEPS Director, Professor Simon Bronitt, spoke with Bernadette Young on ABC Radio's Drive program about Police and their use of force, 16 February 2011.

Interview with the Director of the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence of Policing and Security at Griffith University, Simon Bronitt, who speaks of police and their use of force. Bronitt claims that the heavy language an ex police officer used to justify police using force was unhelpful to the cause of the police. Bronitt notes police have an inherent right to defend themselves. Bronitt mentions the use of force guidelines for police are under review by the Crime and Misconduct Commission and Ethical Standards Command. Young remarks that Queensland Police Commissioner, Bob Atkinson, advocated the 'One Punch Can Kill' campaign against violence.
