Abstract:

The power of policing partnerships is explored within the context of Third Party Policing Theory. Third party policing partnerships bring a variety of legal levers and escalating regulatory provisions to better control crime problems. This lecture focuses on the dynamics of third party policing and the relative effectiveness of different types of partnerships.
